About the Institute
GIBQ is an independent third-party auditor of documentation for research peptide suppliers, operated by GIBQ Operations LLC. GIBQ audits suppliers' Certificates of Analysis and laboratory credentials against the published GIBQ 7-Point Standard. Certified suppliers, and the products each certificate covers, are listed with each certificate's current status in a public registry at gibq.org. GIBQ does not test products or verify their contents.

How GIBQ Verification Works
A three-step audit process that transforms vendor documentation into independently verified, publicly listed certifications against the GIBQ 7-Point Standard.
Submit
Vendors submit COAs and product labels from existing third-party laboratories. No new testing required — GIBQ evaluates documentation your labs have already produced.
Audit
GIBQ independently audits both the COA and product label against the GIBQ 7-Point Standard, verifying methodology, laboratory accreditation, result integrity, and chain of custody.
Certify
Passing vendors receive a numbered GIBQ certificate, the GIBQ Verified seal, and a permanent public registry listing — a searchable, independently maintained record of compliance.
The Framework
The GIBQ 7-Point Standard
A fixed baseline. Every certified supplier's documentation must meet all seven points of the GIBQ 7-Point Standard, with analytical results issued by accredited independent laboratories.

How We Are Governed
GIBQ's value depends entirely on its independence. Our governance structure is designed to eliminate conflicts of interest at every level.
Vendor Independence
GIBQ does not manufacture, sell, or distribute peptide compounds. Our sole commercial activity is the issuance of certifications based on audit outcomes. We have no financial interest in any vendor's results.
Versioned Standard
The GIBQ standard is published in full. Revisions are issued as new, numbered versions, and every prior version remains publicly available.
Audit Separation
GIBQ reviews submitted documentation against fixed, published criteria. Audit decisions are not subject to commercial override. A failed audit cannot be reversed without a full re-submission meeting the standard.
Public Registry
The GIBQ Verified Registry is publicly accessible to anyone — no login, no fee. Certificate numbers, audit dates, certified SKUs, and current status are available to buyers, regulators, and the public alike.

GIBQ Verified™ certification means GIBQ Operations LLC audited the documentation a vendor submitted — including Certificates of Analysis, laboratory credentials, and product labeling — against the GIBQ 7-Point Standard. GIBQ does not test products, does not inspect facilities, and does not certify the contents of any vial or container. The GIBQ shield printed on a product label does not show current status; only this Registry shows current status. Certification is not a guarantee of product identity, purity, quality, safety, or fitness for any purpose, and is not approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other government agency. Statements in a vendor's certification application are the vendor's own. Products sold by certified vendors are for research use only and are not for human or animal consumption.
